Southern India has a warm humid climate. The rainy season starts in the southwest and spreads north and eat from May to June. From April to May the northern Indian plains are hot. The northern hills can have extreme winter weather. The best time to visit is November to April.
Monsoon season starts in April. The best time of year to visit is in March.
South West rainy season is May to August. North East rainy season is from mid November to February.
