Good long distance network and are clean, comfortable and well serviced.

Shared-taxis, taxis-bus. Bus service from Ouaga and Bobo-Dioulasso.

Cameroun

Taxis buses run on all main routes.

Canada

Extensive network, clean, safe, comfortable and normally cheaper then trains.

Central African Republic

Routes between most major towns.

Chile

Long distance buses are fast, comfortable and punctual.

Colombia

Well developed and extensive.

Ecuador

Reasonable service timetables are not always followed. Trucks often double as buses.

Egypt

Buses run practically every where although they can be crowded an dirty.

El Salvador

Colourfully decorated, tend to be overcrowed. Good services on the Pan American & coastal highway. Poor service on the northern highway to Honduran border and on lesser routes.

Ghana

Between most towns, unreliable but comfortable.

Guatemala

Tend to be overcrowed even on long journeys. Dirt roads can be unpassable during the wet season

Buses between main towns.

Guyana

Buses link George town with secondary towns, no timetables and leave when full.

Honduras

A good extensive network. Prices vary between companies. A piece of paper is often handed around for every one to put their name on. This is for police at road blocks.

Iran

Bus travel is luxurious compared to Turkey or Pakistan. Worth booking in advance. Tickets usally give you your seat number.

Buses are usually comfortable and efficent.
